What personal data we collect

Personal data: We collect your email address when you sign up to our mailing list, and contact details (name, email, phone number and enquiry reason) when you fill out our contact form. If you share our content using a share button, we can see that somebody has shared our contentw with their network. 

Non-personal data: We collect anonymous information such as visitor statistics, most popular browsers/devices and bounce rates, in order to help us improve our website for visitors. Nobody is personally identifiable through this data collection. 

All information that we collect is for the purposes of improving our users experiences. We never have and never will share any personal data - we just don't agree with that sort of thing! 

Clients Data

Please note that, as a web agency, we occasionally have access to personal user data that has been shared with our clients. For example, we sometimes deliver Mailchimp campaigns on behalf of our clients. As with all data, we NEVER share this data and always take all reasonable steps to keep it secure and private. We only ever have access to data when it is required in order for us to delivery professional online services for our clients. If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact us.

Our website does contain a number of links to other websites. We like to recommend other services and so on. This privacy policy applies only to our website, wiredcanvas.com. When you visit another website, you should read their privacy policy if you have any concerns. We are not responsible for the behaviour of other websites. 

Your rights

If we have any of your personal information on record, then you have a right under GDPR to request access to that personal information. You can ask us to modify any details which are inaccurate by using the following contact information: hello@wiredcanvas.com. Please state your name and details so we can identify you.

If you have signed up to our newsletter or in any way shared personal data with us, you have the right to ask for your data to be deleted and opt out of further communication. All marketing emails that we send out have an 'unsubscribe' button which means your details will be immediately deleted, and we won't contact you again. If you also wish for us to delete any other personal data, please just ask. Contact Form:

When you contact us via our contact form, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, what your enquiry is about and the content of your message. This is to allow us to respond to you, and to make sure your enquiry is handled promptly.

Typekit:

We use Typekit to display web fonts on our website. This collects usage data, for example how many people have used the web font. Find out more in the Typekit privacy policy.

Instagram:

We use an Instagram widget on our website which uses cookies and tracks usage data.

New Relic:

We use New Relic to track our website for errors, speed and any down-time. Find out more in the New Relic privacy policy.

Social Media:

We have a few social media plugins running on our website included Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. These use cookies and collect usage data.

Mailchimp:

We use Mailchimp for our mailing list, and have a sign-up form on our website. This collects your email address when you complete the form. We'll never share your personal contact data. We pretty much just use it once a year to send a christmas e-card! 

Embedded content:

Some of the content on our site is provided by third parties, such as Google Maps, YouTube or Vimeo and Flickr for images. When you visit a page containing content from one of these sites a cookie may be set. We do not have any control over these cookies and you should check the relevant third party website for more information about these.

Disabling cookies
