Setting up an online shop doesn’t have to be as scary as it sounds. Whilst it is ideal to have a shop integrated with your main website, this is time-consuming and complex, and therefore often outside of a lot of marketing budgets. The good news is there are simple “out of the box” options out there which are still affordable and (so long as you aren’t planning to launch the next Amazon) should fulfill your needs.

There are more complex platforms such as Magento, but that is probably way above and beyond what 99% of artists or arts organisations would require from an online store.
