Consider offering work experience or (paid) internships. Students or paid interns will bring fresh ideas and an alternative perspective, as well as the enthusiasm and energy to help complete tasks or projects that have been sitting on your ‘to do’ list. Bringing in new people to the team also helps diversify your organisations. They will bring skills, ideas and viewpoints that you may not have considered.
Consider however the health and safety rules and regulations (there can be a lot!), and make sure that you are able to pay the living wage (at a minimum) for their valuable time.
